Registration for the Gettysburg Youth Basketball League Winter Team League is now open!

We invite recreation programs, travel teams, school teams, and other organized youth basketball programs to register for another exciting season of competitive basketball.

Registration Deadlines

  • October 15 – Register by this date to avoid the late registration fee.

  • November 1 – Final registration deadline. Team registration closes after this date.

Games will be played at Gettysburg High School and Northern High School.

Mandatory Coaches Meeting

All head coaches are required to attend a Zoom Coaches Meeting on:

Sunday, November 15 at 7:00 PM

Meeting information will be emailed prior to the meeting.

Team Rosters

Official team rosters, including parent email addresses, must be submitted online no later than the start of the mandatory coaches meeting on November 15 at 7:00 PM.

Welcome to the Gettysburg Youth Basketball League!

Are you a passionate coach looking for an exceptional basketball league to enter your teams into? Look no further! The Gettysburg Youth Basketball League is thrilled to invite you to be a part of our exciting basketball journey for the 2026-2027 basketball season. Our league is dedicated to providing a positive and competitive experience for young athletes in grades 3 through 6, with separate divisions for boys and girls.

League Highlights:

  1. Certified Officials: Our games are officiated by certified referees, ensuring fair and unbiased gameplay, allowing players to focus on their skills and sportsmanship.

  2. Spectator Viewing Area: Enjoy an excellent vantage point from our second-floor spectator viewing area. Cheer on your teams and witness the future basketball stars in action!

  3. Concession Stand: Stay refreshed and energized throughout the games with our fully stocked concession stand. We offer a variety of delicious snacks and beverages to keep everyone fueled for the excitement on the court.

  4. Competitive Balance: After the first few games, if there is any competitive imbalance, the league coordinator will work with coaches to design the remaining schedule with the goal of maintaining competitive games and eliminating blowouts.

Game Schedule:

The games take place on Sundays, from December through February, providing an excellent opportunity for your young athletes to showcase their talents and grow their love for the game throughout the winter months. At the end of the season, we have thrilling playoffs, giving players the chance to experience the intensity of high-stakes basketball.
